Apple MacBook (13.3-inch)
Apple just annouce its new Apple MacBook release. The new MacBook and MacBook Pro is great! From its design, specifications to price are attractive.
The new MacBook has aluminium body. It looks thinner and more solid. Also lighter and greener. Its new ultrathin 13.3-inch LED-backlit display give you perfect view. The advance model integrate with NVIDIA chipset deliver up to 5x more graphic performance.
Apple MacBook (13.3-inch) Specifications
The only lacking for this MacBook is its memory, only 1GB. It is optional to upgrade to maximum 4GB. Just matter of money. MacBook main specifications are as below:
Display: 13.3-inch LED-backlit widescreen
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo 2.1Ghz
Memory: 1GB
Hard Drive: 120GB HDD
Graphic: Intel GMA X3100
Connectivity: AirPort Extreme (802.11n), Bluetooth 2.1
Camera: iSight camera
Battery: up to 5 hours
Other: Multi-touch trackpad
No more mouse trackpad. It is now multi-touch trackpad. The smooth glass trackpad was designed to provide more functionality and comfortable to click anywhere.
My two cents
My dream laptop was HP Pavilion tablet PC. But now change to Apple MacBook after this release. Overall, the MacBook looks perfect for me. (Of course I know nothing is perfect)
If I buy this MacBook, I’ll add on 1GB RAM ($75) to make it 2GB RAM for better performance on multitasking.
Price start at $999 USD.

You’re kidding right? Don’t forget the tax for all Apple products when it reaches Malaysian shores.
Also take into account, the extreme glossy LCD screen which is more like a mirror than a monitor and that means you can’t use it outdoors because you can’t see anything when there is light around. No firewire (only in the MBP), 2 USB ports and so on. For the specs and price, it’s just over priced and underpowered.
There are better laptops for the same price out there. Better specs at least. You can count on one thing with Apple though, it’s still form over function (and even that’s called into question with its hideous aluminum/chicklet keyboard frame).

@Edrei: Oppss..I forgot to include the tax. Then will be a lot more expensive huh? Anyway, people pay for its design and feature, not the specs.

Oh yes, looks really good. And I think 2GB is like the minimum RAM we should have these days.
