Nokia N97 mini, a compact version of N97 is for style-conscious and active social networkers. New toy for Nokia lovers.

This N97 mini main feature is Lifecasting with Ovi. It lets you update your status, photo, and location to share with friends on Facebook.

It is mini size yet don’t sacrifice full QWERTY keyboard. The homescreen can be customized to suit your favorite widgets too.

Another selling point is it’s 5MP camera with f2.8 aperture, same with my Nokia N82. Perhaps Carl-Zeiss Tessar lens capture better image. The storage is huge with built-in 8GB and expandable to 24GB MicroSD card.

This phone come in 2 type storage- 8GB and 16GB. Same features, you might pay more for bigger size to store music, movies.

Sony Ericsson W760i Walkman Phone

Anyone here using Sony Ericson phone please raise your hand? I expect to see at least 10% of us. This mean there is one Sony Ericson phone user out of 10 worldwide. In country like Taiwan, Sony Ericson have 30% in phone market share!

The new walkman phone W760i has integrate with more features at reasonable price. Its music-friendly feature set still the key feature. As bonus, this model equipped with GPS receiver and accelerometer (a new trend for mobile phone huh?).

Cheapest GPS with real time traffic I ever see. So far in my country, I never see a GPS with real time traffic feature. Most GPS with traffic monitoring capabilities need you pay for extra service yearly fees.

Although its entry level price, but the feature go beyond that. In addition to traffic monitoring, it will advice you troble spots and suggest alternate routes. Additionally, the reality view provide photo realistic image of complex highway interchanges, actual road signage, etc.

Song long, it is almost a year of Google’s open source operating system news. Finally we got first official shot of G1 Android mobile phone (Google mobile phone). Nightmare for Apple has begin today. I believe there will be more tech wars between Google and Apple in coming year.

Android phone is just very beginning. Google Android is not just for phone. It will be widely use in multimedia device, automobile, etc in future development.

Recent hottest “touch screen” mobile phone – HTC Touch Diamond is on most of mobile phone’s magazine cover. You will find HTC touch diamond is perfect advance mobile phone, no matter which angle.

Many editors compare HTC touch diamond with iPhone 3G and found HTC won in term of features, design, and casing quality. HTC proud on its giant leap to use TouchFlo 3D in this PDA phone.

My two cents

It is a good PDA phone but nothing new to me. Even the proudly TouchFlo 3D is not attractive at all after see the demo. Instead I still like the “Multi touch” screen in iPod or iPhone. Multi touch works more fun, more interactively.

Another lack of is on its low 3.2MP camera. It is better than iPhone 3G but still low compare to many latest mobile phone at least 5MP. What do you think?

We know BlackBerry smartphone is target on business market all the while. The BlackBerry has always been popular in US, Canada, and Europe but not in Asia.

The latest model BlackBerry Storm 9530 smartphone has become popular search in Yahoo search engine recently. BlackBerry Storm smartphone can compete to Apple iPhone 3G. Because they provide almost the same features such as touch screen, predictive text messanging, etc.

GPS isn’t a high tech gadget nowaday. It is using by taxi drivers in some countries. It has become common and cheaper. I think every car owner, traveller, and business man should have one in hand.

Never heard of Sanyo GPS? Yes! I know Sanyo is not so well known brand as Garmin or Magellans in the GPS market. The additional features with lower price make me review on it.

I’m aiming for this phone. Nokia N82 should fit my needs although lack of touch screen. Compared to N78, N82 just does not has FM transmitter. But it has better design and camera.

I search on youtube and found its GPS feature extremely fast and good. A N82 owner in Singapore life run its GPS compare with the GPS famous brand – Garmin GPS, and found N82 *win* under heavy cloud environment!
