Who said only Macbook Pro can have aluminium sleek design? Eye catching Macbook a-like machine that run Windows 7 here. No need to crack or hack.

HP is catching up MacBook with ENVY series model. ENVY 14 design with latest second generation Core i5 with USB 3.0 port and Multitouch trackpad.

HP Envy 14 Specification and Features

Processor: 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 2410M

Display: 14.5-inch

Memory: 6GB, 1,333MHz DDR3

Hard Drive: 750GB 5,400rpm

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

Weight: 2.4 kg

Other than the 3 main selling points mentioned, it is same price with Macbook. This probably make sense for Windows user. I think it is the closest Macbook design machine that run Windows.

A friendly reminder that its multitouch gestures is not as smooth as Macbook’s multitouch pad. Prabably wait for the Sypnaptic software upgrade.

Price at ~ $999 to $1079

HP Pavilion laptop always give me impression of full features and high specifications for the money.

Its recent model HP Pavilion dv3510nr not disappoint us at all.

Outstanding feature set includes Centrino 2 platform, backlit keyboard and media control keys, fingerprint reader, remote control, and HDMI and eSATA ports; great application performance and fair 3D performance; highly portable but still makes room for full-size keyboard; great battery life without needed bulky, extended-cell unit; LED-backlit display is crisp and bright and incredibly thin; two-year warranty.

What else you need? A 4GB of RAM with NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 512MB should be no problem for hardcore 3D gamer.

The only bad thing is its small 13.3-inch screen like MacBook. Another thing to voice out is it Vista Premium 64-bit OS. Might not compatible with your old devices driver, eg: printer, scanner.

Price at ~ $1099 USD.
