Follow by Xbox, Sony Playstation release its latest model too, 160GB huge disk space. The product box comes with a PS3 console and a Dualshock3 wireless controller.

For me, Playstation PS3 is the most expensive game console compare to XBox and Nintendo Wii. But why people still look for this expensive game toy? Its specs make the difference.

Playstation PS3 160GB Features

The selling point is, it is NOT only a game console. Read through the features below and you will know.

Read digital photo from a variety of USB-attached devices, with slideshow mode.

Play Musics (MP3, ATRAC, AAC, and WAV) with built in music visualizer.

Movies (MPEG1, MPEG2, and MPEG4/h.264) and of course Blu-ray in full high-definition movies.

Remote play PS3 via Wi-Fi connection

Internet browser

Web TV

Last but not least, of course is Play PS3 high graphic games.

You see? I said it is more than a game console. Or I should say it is a total media center device. Now my question is, can I install compatible application into it?

The bad: It is too pricey, not everyone can afford. The original box comes with only 1 game controller. How to play multiplayer game with only one? Don’t understand why Sony unable to provide at least 2 controller with such high price. What do you think?

Price at ~ $495 USD.

Finally, Sony released its Windows based all-in-one desktop computer. It can compete with iMac. Sony Vaio is currently the fastest all-in-one computer with its Intel Core 2 Duo 3Ghz and Blu-ray drive. This make the computer a complete home entertainment system for playing digital media.

I would say it is best deal plus best performance for its price. The basic Sony Vaio JS190J specification start at $999 but the Blu-ray drive and other upgrade make the price go upto $1400+.

Sony Vaio JS190J Specification

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3Ghz

Memory: 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Display: Sony’s 20-inch LCD (1,680×1,050)

Graphics: 128MB (shared) Intel GMA 4500HD

Hard drive: 500GB 7,200rpm

Optical drive: Blu-ray drive

Network connection: Gigabit Ethernet; 802.1b/g/n Wi-Fi; Bluetooth

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (64-bit)

The bad about Sony Vaio JS190J is its screen might be a bit smaller than Apple iMac 22-inch monitor. No doubt on its fast performance on 3Ghz Core 2 Duo chipset. The huge 500GB hard drive could store hundreds of movie until you can’t finish.

Price at ~ $1446 USD.
