Microsoft has launched the 64GB Zune HD. It can be Apple iPod huge competitor!

The latest Zune OS 4.0 (Oh..faster than iPhone OS 4) boasts of new features such as the SmartDJ. The best part is HD video out to your big screen HDTV! How cool

It available in a few colors and capacity to choose. The Zune HD 16GB and 32GB versions will be knocked down to only $200 and $270 respectively.

Price at ~ $350USD.

New trend speaker design with 2GB build-in MP3 player.comes with an SD card slot and an SD-to-microSD adapter. Best part is it can be link with another speaker to boost your music louder!

One thing I don’t like is the player don’t have navigation options. Can’t play music from playlist. Other than that, it is still a happy speaker!

iPod touch has changed my life in listening music, play games, watch video clips and most importantly – Internet surfing on WiFi. No other portable device can compete the speed of Internet surfing to iPod touch!

Want to watch movie with bigger screen? AV out port for bigger screen viewing. On battery life, the manufacturer promised 12 hours of battery life for audio and 6 hours for video.

If you don’t expect fancy features like WiFI or bluetooth, it is suitable for your need.

Although RAmos is not well known branded (at least I never heard of this brand name), yet equip with full features. It has 5-inch, 800 x 480 display, 8GB internal memory, 720p TV out, FM radio, and support for numerous codecs including H.264 HD, DivX, XviD, MPG, and FLV.

Compare to iPod touch 8GB, it has bigger touchscreen 5-inches instead of 3.5 inches. The price is so cheap almost 37% of iPod touch price. I think this will be iPod touch killer once it enter to the market.

This new iPod Shuffle still no display. No control button on the slim body. Its shinning metal clip looks like iPod touch backcover.

New iPod Shuffle Features

It size smaller than a AA size battery. Can simply clip on t-shirt, pocket,jacket, etc.

The control button is now build on ear phone wire. Its center control button do more than previous iPod shuffle control. It can play, shuffle, listen to song name, and navigate song via playlist.

The most obvious enhancement is the VoiceOver feature. It is the first iPod that talk to people. Since no display, it “talk” to you the current song name, artist and even name of the playlist, without interrupting your song play.

More Features

If you sync with MAC, the VoiceOver talk with man voice. If not (sync with PC), it talk with lady voice.

iPod shuffle comes in 2 model: 1GB and 2GB storage. 1GB storage store up to 240 songs while 2GB take up to 500 songs. Features are almost the same with previous model, with little bit enhancement.

Nothing special on its feature. Just to mention it support for FLV (flash movie) and RMVB video format. Should be a convenient portable video player. No need to convert fo downloaded videos.

Only thing to mention is its clickwheel. Many PMP made in China is using clickwheel navigation too. Hopefully this one don’t spoilt too fast.

MobiBlu T20 Features

Display: 2.4-inch

Storage: 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB

File support: RM / RMVB, AVI, MP3, WMA, FLAC, AAC, APE,  JPG, BMP and TXT

For me, it consider “expensive” at the price. I rather pay a little bit more to get the iPod touch 2nd edition, feel the touch. Lastly, I was surprise by its file support RM or RMVB video. Wow, this is too good for playing video without need to convert.

Conclusion: Only get one if you really want to watch RMVB movie on its 2.4-inch screen while away from home.

Price at ~ $200 USD (8GB Model).
